It’s that time of year again! The Leif Erikson Day Committee is excited to celebrate our 33rd year of Leif Erikson Day
festivities! This year we will be celebrating on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

We are currently looking for businesses to sponsor this event that will consist of Leif’s Run (10k & 5k competitive
runs & a 2-mile run/walk), local band performances, food vendors, a craft/woodworking show, a farmer’s market,
a parade, children’s activities, a Night of the Viking ceremony, & the crowning of Miss Norway & Friend of Norway.
Our purpose is to create a venue to shine a spotlight on the Norway, Michigan area. We will promote and
encourage our businesses, schools, places of worship, organizations, and citizens through a celebration of history
and culture. Support from local businesses is one of our main sources of fundraising for these events, and
sponsoring them is a great way to let the community know that your business is committed to development,
economic growth and the promotion of Norway, Michigan.
