Where can I use Viking Bucks?Individuals receive Viking Bucks for participating in the parade and Leif Run during the Leif Erikson festival. Viking Bucks come in $5 increments. No change is given, and they are not redeemable for cash. Viking Bucks from the 2024 Leif Erikson Festival are valid until December 31, 2024. Businesses that want to enroll in the Viking Bucks program. Please refer to the Downtown Norway business website (www.norwaymi.com).

Where does the parade start?This year the parade starts on Main Street and Fourth Avenue (near St. Mary's Catholic Church).

Do I need a ticket for the ceremonial parade that follows the Viking Dinner Theatre?No. The ceremonial parade that follows the Viking Dinner Theatre is free.

What day and time is the Quilt Show?The Quilt Show starts on Friday from 10 AM - 6PM and Saturday from 9 AM - 4 PM. The quilt show is located at 120 O'Dill Drive, Norway (Evangelical Covenant Church). Admission is $5 each day

How can I apply for the Friend of Norway award?The Leif Erikson Day Committee seeks nominations for our “Friend of Norway” award. Do you know someone who deserves to be recognized for their outstanding service to our community? Please complete this form and upload or put in a sealed envelope marked “Friend of Norway” and drop off or mail Swedish Passport, 626 Iron St, Norway, MI 49870 or City Hall by September 30th, 2024.

How can I apply for the Norse King and Queen?Fill out the attached application for Norse King and Queen: Prospective candidates must complete all three parts of this application and return it to the Norway High School Office or the Swedish Passport by date on the form. The Norse King and Queen applications will be reviewed by a panel of judges from whom the applicants’names will be kept anonymous. Applicants will be contacted to schedule a short in-person interview separately from the anonymous judging.
